Even though the calendar told us that spring officially began March 20, only recently has it really begun to feel like the changing season. Sure signs that spring has arrived at TroutChasers: the song of the red-winged black birds (who nest on the pond); robins prancing about the yard; the pair of Mallards who also return to the pond each year; greening grass; mud; budding pussy willows, rhubarb, and perennials; calves at the neighboring ranches; and this afternoon… a beautiful pair of Canadian Geese.

Spring is a wonderful time around TroutChasers for so many reasons – warmth, renewed energy and excitement, growth, and we can’t wait to share its many snippets with you.
