1. 32 ounces of crushed tomatoes; 9 ounces chicken broth; 1 ounce butter; 1 tablespoon minced garlic; ¼ cup chopped onion; pinch of baking soda; 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning; 2 tablespoons sugar; 2 cups cream
  2. Sauté garlic and onion in butter; Add tomatoes, chicken broth, sugar, and Italian seasoning; Add pinch of baking soda; Simmer; Add cream and serve hot;
    Garnish with croutons, shredded parmesan
